  • Care agent for varnish / silver / patina / brass
  • Mouthpiece brush
  • Flexible brush for inner tubes of the instrument

  • Cloth for cleaning silver, brass

  • Cover for the mouthpiece

1EVERY DAY

• Lubricate the pumps / rotors before playing the instrument . This not only improves the work of mechanical parts, but also protects them from soiling and wear-and-tear.

• Rinse the mouthpiece under a stream of warm water using a brush.

• Keep the mouthpiece in an individual case to protect it from dust, dirt and mechanical damage.

• To prevent rapid wear-out of the varnish / silver / gold or other coatings, always wipe the hand-contact surfaces of the instrument to remove sweat and fatty acids.

• Be sure to remove condensate from inside the instrument before putting your instrument into the case.

7Every week

• Clean the instrument with a clean cloth to remove hand marks, excess oil and traces of condensation.

• Lubricate adjusting crowns with special consistent greases. This will improve their slip and keep compression in the instrument.

30EVERY MONTH

• Do a general rinse with warm water using a flexible brush.

• Wipe the instrument outwardly with a dry cloth to remove moisture; treat it with a silver polish or a care agent for varnish, patina or pure brass, depending on the coating.

• Remove inner remnants of the old grease with a soft lint-free cloth.
